The WONDER barre is a welcoming boutique barre, yoga and wellness studio offering a tranquil community style setting.
No opinions, wear what you want, go at your own pace. Barre is a safe, low-impact, all-body workout that includes stretching, strength exercises, and isometric movements, all using a ballet bar.

Mat based workout use a combination of pilates and barre techniques to create a unique, intense, and full-body workout, featuring a strong focus on core sculpting.
Rooted in the Lotte Berk method, Flow workouts engage you in concise isometric movements that focus on specific muscle groups, leading to a stronger core, slimmer thighs, and toned arms. Flow is a basic class—great for newcomers and experienced barre lovers alike.
Workouts challenge you to increase your heart rate with low-impact toning exercises. Break a sweat, pulse more, and burn calories—all while creating lean muscle.
Continuously flowing through strong sequences of traditional sun salutations and standing postures, you’ll link your breath with your movement, build strength and endurance, and enhance your balance and flexibility.
Our team comprises certified barre and yoga instructors, and many have a dance background. They love to help other women become stronger, inside and out, and are passionate about ensuring our customers have fun and achieve results.
Becky is certified by the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a as a group fitness instructor. She is a professionally trained barre teacher and also has extensive training in traditional martial arts, as well as a background in gymnastics and dance. Becky has additional certifications in TRX suspension training, Pilates, cycle, and injury prevention. With a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Arabic and Middle Eastern studies, her philosophy is: Work hard, listen, learn, smile :)
Denise has been working in the fitness industry since 1992. She has managed group exercise programs for various fitness chains, designed a wide variety of fitness programs, and run training programs and education workshops for new instructors and trainers. Denise holds a master’s degree in anatomy, as well as many national certifications, and she has 15 years of experience as a dancer, including ballet, modern, and tap.
Joelle is certified as a personal trainer and a primary group instructor by the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and as a personal trainer and pre- and postpartum instructor by the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT). Her specialties include injury prevention, senior fitness, prenatal and postpartum instruction, and barre. Her philosophy is to find and maintain the balance and connection among the mind, body, and spirit.
“Though she be but little, she is fierce.” This Brooklyn little native, packs quite the punch. Christina brings a you challenging class, that will push your limits and put you to work while always keeping you safe! She’ll keep you smiling through the burn, give you killer playlists, and remind you that a little extra booty work never hurt anyone! Christina is barre certified instructor through Merrithew STOTT PILATES and is RYT-200 certified through Yoga Alliance. She also is a NYS wildlife rehabilitator, specializing in small mammal species.
Pursuant to government regulations approved by the Westchester County health inspectors, we are open at 33% capacity. We have replaced our air circulation filters with government mandated filters, and UV lights run in the studio every night.
